The short version

•We do not sell your mental health data. Ever.
•We collect only what we need to run the app and keep you safe.
•Your email, birthdate, and exact location are never shown publicly.
•You can request a full export or full deletion of your account at any time.

What we collect

Account basics: email address, password (stored hashed and salted), and a display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google email and basic profile info — nothing else.

Optional profile details: bio, region (not exact location), social links, healing interests, faith preference, and cannabis-use preference. All optional, all editable, all deletable.

Wellness content you create: mood check-ins, soft-reset notes, bookmarked tools, and reflections you post. This data belongs to you. We use it only to power the features you see.

Technical data: device type, browser, and anonymized usage events (e.g., "opened Soft Reset") so we can fix bugs and improve features. We do not track you across other apps or websites.

What we never make public

•Your email address.
•Your birthdate or exact age.
•Your precise location (we use broad regions only, e.g., "PNW" or "Midwest").
•Your check-ins, reset notes, and journal entries — these are private to your account.
•Your DMs — only you and the recipient can read them. We do not train on or scan DM content.

How we use your data

•To run the features you ask for (check-ins, soft resets, peer matching, etc.).
•To keep the community safe (detecting spam, harassment, or crisis language that triggers a support modal).
•To improve the app through aggregated, anonymized usage patterns — never linked back to you.
•To send essential account messages (password resets, security alerts). No marketing email without your opt-in.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or insurers.

Service providers we use

We rely on a small set of trusted infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, database, email delivery, error monitoring) bound by contracts that prohibit them from using your data for any purpose other than running this service for us.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links in the Healing Shelf, Therapist Directory, or wellness recommendations may earn YAMS a small commission at no extra cost to you. We label affiliate links clearly and only recommend things we'd send to a friend.

Your rights

•Access: request a copy of everything we have about you.
•Correction: update any inaccurate info from your profile.
•Deletion: permanently remove your account and associated data.
•Portability: export your check-ins and reset notes in a readable format.
•Withdraw consent at any time without losing access to core features.

Children

ReCentered is for adults 18 and older. The Elevated Reset (cannabis wellness) section is restricted to adults 21+ in jurisdictions where it is legal. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
